Alltel and LG Electronics have announced the availability of a new entry level Android smartphone, LG Axis in US. LG Axis runs on Android 2.1 OS.
LG Axis features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, slide out QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera with video recording, and up to 32GB of expandable memory. LG Axis also features Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and 1500 mAh battery.

LG Axis is available for $89.99 after a $50 mail in rebate and a two year service agreement.
