ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime debuts with Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad Core Processor

Asus has officially launched its most powerful tablet, ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime. The tablet runs on latest NVIDIA Tegra 3 Quad core processor. This tablet is the first Android tablet to come with Quad Core processor.

Sporting a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel Super IPS LED Backlit display with 178-degree viewing angle and a maximum brightness of 600 nits, 8 MP autofocus camera with Flash, f/2.4 lens and 1080p video, 1.2 MP camera for video calls, microHDMI port, full size USB, 1GB RAM, 32/64 GB on-board memory which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card slot. The Transformer Prime will be available in amethyst gray or champagne gold colors.

The tablet also comes with advanced audio capabilities with Asus SonicMaster technology, SuperNote for taking notes, and Polaris Office for viewing and editing Microsoft Office documents. The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime is just 8.3 mm thin and provides 12 hours of battery life from its 25Wh battery.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is priced at $499 for the 32GB and $599 for the 64GB version. The keyboard dock will be available for $149.
