Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 gets official (Video)

Samsung has announced a new tablet, Galaxy Note 8.0 which will join the Note series. This tablet comes with a stylus, and suite of apps like ChatON 2.0, Smart Stay, Direct Call, Awesome Note, AllShare support and more. This 8 inch tablet supports voice calling over GSM. It is expected to ship on the second quarter of this year.

Specifications wise, Galaxy Note 8.0 has a 8 inch 1280×800 display, a 5 MP rear camera, a 1.3 MP front facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for up to 64 GB of expandable memory, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, HSPA, GPS, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, and a 4,600 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.1.2 OS and is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor.
