Sony Xperia SP and Xperia L announced
Sony has officially announced two new mid ranged Android smartphone in its Xperia line-up dubbed as, Sony Xperia SP and Xperia L.
Sony Xperia SP features a 4.6-inch HD Reality display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, a 1.7 GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960Pro processor with the Adreno 320 GPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD and 2370 mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and has a 8MP auto focus camera with LED Flash, Exmor RS sensor, 1080p video recording support and a VGA front-facing camera.
The Sony Xperia SP would be available in White, Red and Black colors and will available starting from Q2 2013.
On the other hand, Xperia L comes equipped with a 4.3-inch Scratch-resistant capacitive touch screen display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, Exmor RS sensor, 720p HD video recording support and a dedicated camera key and a VGA front camera. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 processor and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Sony Xperia L would be available globally from Q2 2013 in White, Red and Black colours.
Sony Xperia SP is priced at €419 (about $545) while the Xperia L smartphone is priced at €299 (about $387) in Germany.
