Acer has introduced three new smartphones – beTouch E 101, beTouch E200 and neoTouchS200, in the Indian market.
The Acer beTouch e101 comes with a 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen TFT (65K colours, 240×320 pixels).
Running on Windows Mobile 6.5, the device comes equipped with a 2-megapixel camera, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM (expandable via microSD), EDGE and Bluetooth connectivity. The 1140mAh battery claims to last for 5 hours of talk-time and 400 hours of standby time. Moreover, the handset comes preloaded with latest version of Internet Explorer, Windows Marketplace and Live Messenger.
The beTouch e101 is available at Rs. 11,900.
The Acer beTouch e200 is a slider touchscreen phone. It has a 3.0 inch WQVGA touch screen and 3.2 pixel camera with video recording. It has an alpha-numeric keypad that slides out from beneath the screen and it can also be controlled using touch. The smart phone comes pre-loaded with Window live Messenger, Facebook, Youtube, Flickr, Blogger etc. The e200 comes with both Wi-Fi and 3G and supports talk time of 5 hours and standby time of 400 hours. The Smartphone comes in two colours, black and white.
The beTouch e200 is available at Rs 17,900.
The Acer neoTouch is a quad-band GSM smartphone with HSDPA support. It is powered with Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The phone runs Windows Mobile 6.5 and has Acer’s own custom UI running atop it. It features 3.8 inch WVGA touch screen, 5 Mega pixel camera camera with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging and VGA video recording. The neoTouch has a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo FM radio, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It has functions like Mail, Mobile Internet, multimedia and Microsoft Office Mobile. The smartphone supports talk time of 300 minutes and standby time of 17 days.
The neoTouch is available at Rs. 35,000.
