Acer Liquid Android based Smartphone unveils in India

Acer has announced the launch of the Android based Smartphone called the Acer Liquid in India. Acer Liquid is outstanding for multimedia, web browsing, social media integration and video streaming.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android 1.6 OS, the Acer Liquid features a 3.5 inches WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera with geotagging, 256MB of RAM, microSD card slot, stereo FM radio and a 1,350 mAH battery. The Acer Liquid also comes with a quad-band GSM support, Wi-Fi, 3G, HSPDA 7.2Mbps, HSUPA connectivity, and USB connectivity.

Acer Liquid provides instant access to web pages; smooth streaming of videos or music, and instant response from popular mail, maps and search applications. Additional features includes, improved power management, exclusive Spinlets application providing free streaming of music and video, integration of Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Picasa and Flickr in the address book, with real-time notification of status or content updates and also handles 3D graphics easily.

Acer Liquid will be available at Rs. 24,900 (with 2 GB micro SD).
