Acer has also announced another Android powered smartphone, the Acer beTouch E400. The Acer’s beTouch E400 is powered by 600 MHz Qualcomm processor and runs the new Android 2.1 Eclair OS.

Acer beTouch E400 features a 3.2 inch HVGA resistive touchscreen display, a 3.2-megapixel camera with Video Recording, autofocus and geo-tagging with flash, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, microSD Card Slot, MS Exchange support, ability to open/edit MS Office files, view PDF files, and multi touch support. It measures 115 x 59.3 x 12 mm and weighs 125 grams and is powered by 1090mAH battery.
Other features of the Acer beTouch E400 include HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, native Microsoft Exchange Server support, social network applications, Google Maps, and Accelerometer. The E400 also has “Acer Lighting Behaviour”, which has smart LEDs that alert you if you’ve received a new message, missed a class or your battery is low. It comes with the Spinlets application for streaming music and video.
It will be available in soft touch black, ceramic white and pearl red color in April 2010. No word on pricing as yet.
