Airtel launches ‘special five’ scheme

Bharti Airtel has announced a new add on feature called ‘Special 5′ for all its 100 million customers. The ‘Special 5′ feature empowers Airtel customers to select five Airtel mobile numbers from their friends, family and colleagues and stay in touch with them at low rates.

Airtel customers to choose any 5 local or STD numbers (in any combination) for making local calls at 20 paise/min and STD calls at 50 paise/min. This feature is available as an add-on to the customer’s current tariff plans in prepaid. The customer needs to register any five numbers and enjoy the benefits over and above the current tariff benefits enjoyed. In post paid it will be available as exclusive “Special 5″ plan.

All prepaid customers can enjoy this benefit by dialing in 12141 and registering their special 5 numbers online through the automated IVR. Postpaid customers can send a message ” FIVE ” to 121 and register on Special 5 plan. This feature is available for existing Prepaid customers at a daily rental of Re. 1/- while existing Postpaid customers can enjoy this at a monthly rental of Rs. 249/-.
