Apple iPod touch unveiled

Apple has unveiled its new 4 generation iPod touch. Apple iPod touch is powered by 1GHz Apple A4 processor and comes with iOS 4.1, the newest version of the world’s most advanced mobile operating system. iOS 4.1 has a new features like FaceTime video calling, multitasking, folders and Game Center.

Apple iPod touch features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display( Retina display), supports multitouch with resolution of 640 x 960 pixels, VGA front facing camera for video calling over Wi-Fi, back camera, 720p HD video recording, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm mini audio jack and 3-axis gyro.

The iPod touch provides up to 40 hours of music playback and seven hours of video playback on a single battery charge and is 7.2 mm thick. The iPod touch requires a Mac with a USB 2.0 port, Mac OS X v10.5.8 or later and iTunes 10 or later; or a Windows PC with a USB 2.0 port and Windows Vista or Windows XP Home or Professional (Service Pack 3) or later and iTunes 10 or later.
The iPod touch comes in 8GB, 32GB, and 64GB flash drive and carries the price tag of $229, $299 and $399 respectively.
