ASUS Technology has announced the launch of its latest F83S notebook in India. The Asus F83S laptop features a scratch resistant satin-brushed aluminium body, and also features a spill-proof keyboard, which protects vital internal circuitry from accidentalliquid spillage.
The Windows Vista Home Premium laptop has 14-inch LCD display with 1366×768 pixel resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor and has ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500 graphics for HD experience. For high definition video and gaming experience Asus adds ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 graphics with 512MB video memory. It is provided with a 4GB DDR2 800 MHz RAM, and a 500GB 5400rpm hard drive.
The ASUS Smart Logon represents a whole new approach to access security, with the user’s facialfeatures as the pass-key. The system even learns to recognize the user evenwhile wearing head-gear, or even in low-light conditions. Asus Express Gate allows quick access to the most common and frequently used applications. It features handy applications such as a media player, instant messenger, web-browser and email.
Other features of the F83S laptop include 8x DVD Super Multi drive, built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam, integrated WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 2.0 port, ExpressCard Slot, and HDMI out port. It weighs 2.40 kg with the 6 cell battery.
Asus F83S notebook is now available and can be purchased for Rs. 60,340. Asus F83S offers a two-year limited global warranty and one-year battery warranty.
