Asus has announced to launch its two new Eee PC Seashell models Eee PC 1101HA and Eee PC 1005HA in the market. Designed to fulfill the needs of young adults, professionals and travelers, these netbooks are claimed to very stylish. Inspired by one of nature’s most beautiful designs—the seashell—and equipped with the best of today’s innovations, these sleek, lightweight and hardy netbooks offer large, crisp screens, excellent connectivity on-the-go, and large storage capacities.
Like its namesake, these netbooks possesses an opalescent gloss and smooth exterior which is fashioned by In-Mold Roller technology. It protects the body from any sort of scratches. The lid is laced with grainy reflective particles which glisten in the light. There is a 10-inch LED backlit WSVGA glare-type display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels with Color-Shine.
They are based on a Windows XP Home operating system with an Intel Atom processor. They sport a 1GB SO-DIMM RAM and a 160GB 2.5” SATA II 5400RPM hard disk, 802.11b/g/n @2.4GHz wireless LAN and Bluetooth 2.1 and EDR support. Both models also come with 10GB of online Eee Storage that allows users to access their files securely—anytime, anywhere. These laptops weigh 1.1kg and measure just 1-inch in depth.
ASUS’ new Eee Docking software’s are offered for the first time with Eee PC 1101HA and 1005HA netbooks which allows the easily access to utilities, software and digital content. This software is combined with Eee @Vibe, Eee Sharing, Eee Xperience and Eee Tools. Eee @Vibe offers the effortless access to music, videos, radio stations and much more.
The Eee PC 1101HA and Eee PC 1005HA employ a large 92% keyboard with full-sized shift keys for an extremely comfortable typing experience. The large keyboard is complemented by the touchpad with a hollow surface that supports multi-touch gestures. They incorporate a 3 cell Li-polymer battery that is slim and eco-friendly and runs for 6 hours.
These devices have a 1 x mini VGA connector, 2 x USB2.0, 1 x LAN RJ-45, 2 x audio jack and a card reader. With a 1.3MP camera, they also include hi-definition audio codec, Dolby stereo speakers and a built-in digital array mic. They are 262mm x 178mm x 18~25.7mm and are available in white and black color.
The Asus Eee PC Seashell series are currently available in India. The price of the ASUS Eee PC Seashell series has not yet been revealed.

I bought this unit a month ago. I’m impressed with the over all features but problem is that i wasnt able to access on the Eee @ vibe. The only one that appears is Windows error. What should i do?
