Research In Motion has announced the launch of its latest smartphone the BlackBerry Bold 9650 for CDMA customers. The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS or dual-band CDMA/EV-DO smartphone.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 features a 2.44 inch display with 480 x 360 pixel resolution,, full-QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, auto-focus and video recording, optical trackpad, 512 MB Flash memory and expandable memory of up to 32 GB through microSDHC cards, with a 2 GB card included.
The Blackberry Bold 9650 also comes with a Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), Bluetooth, built-in GPS receiver, 3.5mm headphone jack, HTML browser and 1400mAh battery that gives up to 5 hours of talk time on CDMA. It measures 4.4 x 2.4 x 0.56 inches and weighs 4.8 oz. Other features include direct access to Facebook, MySpace and Flickr, BlackBerry App World, BlackBerry Maps and other mapping application.
The BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone will be available May 23 through all Sprint sales channels.
