BlackBerry Storm2 launches in India

Research In Motion has announced the launch of the BlackBerry Storm2 smartphone in India. The Blackberry Storm2 comes with a SurePress technology and Blackberry OS 5.

The Blackberry Storm2 features a 3.25 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with 360 x 480 pixels resolutions, a 3.2 MP camera with flash and video recording, 2 GB of internal memory storage and support for 16 GB microSD card.

The Blackberry Storm2 3G phone also comes with a quad-band GSM, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 2.1, built in GPS and Blackberry App World support. It has a dimension of 112.5 x 62.2 x 14 mm and weighs 160 grams. It is powered by Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery which provides talk time of up to 6 hours and the stand-by time of 280 hours.

The Blackberry Storm2 is priced at Rs. 31,990.
