Fujifilm has announced a new digital camera in Japan, the FinePix Z300, which features 3″LCD touchscreen display with new touch shutter control. Fujifilm is claiming a “world’s first” for the camera’s “Touch Shot” feature, which allows an image to be captured by touching the LCD panel.
The Z300 features 10 megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom, 100 to 1600 ISO speed, 31MB internal memory, SD/SDHC card support, video recording at 30fps and a USB port. Other features of the Fujifilm Z300 include CCD shift-type image stabilization, face detection autofocus, Secure Digital card storage, High Speed and IrSimple infrared data connectivity, and power from a Lithium Ion rechargeable good for 170 shots on a charge.
The Z300 will be available in Japanese stores on June 20 in pink, white, purple and black color. Fujifilm hasn’t announced their plans for overseas markets yet. No word on pricing as yet.
