Fujifilm has announced the launch and availability of two new “A” Series compact cameras: the A170 and the A220 digital cameras in India.
The A170 features a 10MP sensor while the A220 features a 12MP sensor with 3x optical zoom.
The A220 and the A170 models have 2.7″ LCD screen, Scene Recognition Auto technology, Face Detection technology, movie mode with zoom and sound and maximum sensitivity up to ISO 1600, with a width of just 21.9mm. The camera is powered by two standard AA-sized batteries.
The Recognition Auto feature detects a scene without needing to pre-select the mode on the camera. In addition, the camera also does a panorama mode where it can shoot three shots consecutively and stitch them up together to get a wide panorama. Both these camera also features Fujifilm’s Picture Stabilization Mode to that you can take sharp pictures without blurring. Fujifilm has developed proprietary technology which intelligently identifies and recognizes 6 different scenes – Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Backlit Portrait, Night and Night Portrait.
The Fujifilm A170 is availble at a price of Rs. 6,999 and the A220 is priced at Rs. 7,499.
