Google has announced that Google Friend Connect is now supported in 47 additional languages. This service allows the users to connect with their friends on different websites and blogs and was initially supported in the English language.
Google Friend Connect is aimed to connect social websites to non-social ones. The service is free to use just like Facebook Connect. According to Google, over five million sites are using Friend Connect for building social communities. If you own a site or blog at Blogger.com, visit www.google.com/friendconnect and it will show different language options once opt for either setting up for a website or Blogger blog. Users can change the language of their gadgets by logging into their Friend Connect account and navigating to the “Site Settings” page.
The languages now supported by Friend Connect are: Arabic, Bengali, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Latvian, Lingala, Lithuanian, Malay, Malayalam, Marathi, Norwegian, Oriya, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.
