HP introduced four new notebooks for students

HP has introduced new affordable notebooks for students. These include Pavilion dv2z, dv3t, dv6t and dv6z, designed to match students’ life style and education settings.

The HP Pavilion dv2z is an affordable, thin and light notebook. Less than 1-inch thin and weighs 3.81 pounds. It has a 12.1-inch diagonal mercury-free LED widescreen display and features HP MediaSmart software, which provides one-touch access to entertainment.The dv2z offers a full notebook PC experience with powerful discrete graphics, high-capacity hard drive up to 500 gigabytes (GB), optional Blu-ray, disc support and a wide range of ports. HP’s Pavilion dv2 laptop has been the first portable computer system to adopt AMD’s alternative to Intel’s CULV platform, providing users with a different choice in hardware specs. This notebook is priced at $ 599.99 (Rs 28,800 approx.).

The HP Pavilion dv3t laptop has a 13.3-inch screen and weighs less than five pounds. The laptops are powered by Intel chips and run the Windows Vista OS. The DV3T supports up to 500GB of storage and 8GB of memory. The laptop comes with a six-cell battery that provides about four hours of battery life, or an optional 9-cell battery that provides 7 hours of battery life. This notebook is priced at $649.99 (Rs. 31,200 approx.).

The HP Pavilion dv6t offers users a host of digital entertainment features and mobile technologies. The notebook flaunts a stunning design along with a perfect balance of performance and mobility. The features of the notebook include 16-inch diagonal LED widescreen display, 16:9 aspect ratio and support for high-definition TV and other content. The PC also incorporates MediaSmart software which is ideal for watching movies, viewing photos, listening to music and creating videos. A separate numeric keypad allows faster data entry during class. This notebook is priced at $649 (approx. Rs.30, 670).

The HP Pavilion dv6z Artist Edition 2 incorporates all the features of the HP Pavilion dv6z along with design inspired by the sea and the sky in Okinawa, Japan. this notebook allows students to show their creative side. The notebook PC incorporates a host of software including Corel, Video Studio X2, Corel Painter Sketchpad, Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 and Magix Music Maker 14. ), This notebook is priced at $949 (approx. Rs.44, 840).
