HP introduces ‘Thinspiration’ notebooks

HP has introduced new thin, light and ultra-portable notebooks portfolio to India. These new feature-packed laptops are launched under ‘Thinspiration’ brand name. The new notebook portfolio from HP includes the limited edition HP Mini by Studio Tord Boontje, the HP Pavilion dm1 and dm3 – slim, stylish notebooks and the ultra-slim HP ProBook 5310m.

The 13.3-inch ultra portable HP ProBook 5310m notebook weighs 1.72kgs and is less than an inch thick. HP offers this notebook pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows 7. This notebook has CULV Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, up to 320GB SATA II storage, and has Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics and integrated 2 megapixel webcam. With 13.3-inch LED backlit HD display, this notebook has DisplayPort and optional USB 2.0 external optical drive. Customizable in different configurations, HP offers ProBook 5310m at a price starting at Rs. 60,000.

HP Pavilion dm3 comes with ultra-low voltage Intel C2D processor. The notebook measures simply one-inch thin and with 13.3-inch diagonal High-Definition HP LED BrightView Widescreen Display and a lightweight, brushed aluminum chassis in “modern argento”. The HP Pavilion dm3-1030us Notebook is powered by AMD Athlon Neo X2 Dual-Core Processor, 4GB RAM, 300 GB Hard disk, webcam with integrated microphone, and weighs 1.9 kg. It is priced something like at Rs 58990 including taxes and has a battery life of up to 10 hours.

Sporting an 11.6-inch HD LED display, the Pavilion dm1 boasts of battery life up to 9.5 hours. Weighing less than 1.5kg weight, the Pavilion dm1 comes equipped with Intel’s ultra low voltage processor. It also features 92 percent size of original keyboard, Action Keys and Touchpad. HP offers this notebook at price of Rs. 38,500 including taxes.

HP’s partnership with world-renowned Dutch industrial designer, Tord Boontje, follows the successful collaboration with fashionista, Vivienne Tam. With a starting weight of 1.06-kilos and measuring just over one-inch thick, the HP Mini by Studio Tord Boontje features a 10.1-inch mercury-free LED display and 92% full-size keyboard. It offers a personalized experience as users can choose from 15 wallpapers and special icons designed by Tord Boontje, plus a customized Stardock MyColors desktop theme and custom screen saver for a truly personal experience. HP Mini has a 6-cell Lithiumion battery with a life of up to 8 hours in a sing charge.HP offers this notebook at price of Rs 23,500 including taxes.
