HTC has unveiled its new HTC Desire smartphone. HTC Desire also known as HTC Bravo comes with a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs Android 2.1 Operating System and features HTC Sense UI.
The HTC Desire features a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED Capacitive touchscreen display with Multi-touch support, optical joystick for navigating menus, a trackball navigation, 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and HD video recording, 576MB RAM, 512MB ROM and microSD Card Slot of upto 32GB. HTC Desire is powered by Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery that provides a talk time of up to 6 hours 30 min and standby time of up to 360 hours.
The HTC Desire also features a new Digital Compass, Proximity Sensor, Light Sensor, HSPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB 2.0, GPRS, EDGE connectivity, stereo radio with FM, Facebook, Flickr, Twitter applications, dedicated search key, and digital compass and Adobe Flash 10.1 support.
The HTC Desire will be available in Europe and Asia starting early Q2 2010.
