HTC has announced the launch of the HTC HD2, the first Windows phone with HTC Sense, in India. The HTC HD2 uses the first capacitive touch display on a Windows phone to make viewing, zooming and resizing websites, Microsoft Office files, PDF documents and pictures easier with just a pinch of your fingers.
As part of its initiative to encourage Internet access through mobile devices. Tata DoCoMo has announced an exclusive offer with the launch of the HTC HD2 phone. Its subscribers can browse the Internet and download 500MB of data per month free for about six months.

The HTC HD2 is powered by Windows mobile 6.5 professional operating system and Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor. The HD2 boasts of a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 5 megapixels camera, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and internal memory 448 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM and microSD card slot. HTC HD2 comes with Microsoft’s new My Phone service that offers automatic backup and synching of contacts, photos, music, and text messages to the web for free.

The HTC HD2 will be available at a price tag of Rs. 39,990 in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, and at Rs. 36,990 in the other parts of the India.
