Bharti Airtel has teamed up with HTC to bring the HTC Smart in India in collaboration with Qualcomm. The HTC Smart is powered by Qualcomm’s Brew Mobile Platform operating system and HTC Sense UI. The HTC Smart is the World’s first commercial 3G smartphone based on Qualcomm’s Brew Mobile Platform.
The HTC Smart features a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display, 3.0 megapixel fixed focus camera with Flash, 300 MHz processor with 256MB RAM, 256MB ROM, 16 GB expandable memory. It also come incorporated with 3G connectivity, GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth with A2DP, Mini USB connectivity, 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio with RDS, music player, push email and HTC’s Friendstream.
The HTC Smart is priced at Rs. 9,990.
