The Tattoo is a 3G-capable, Wi-Fi ready device and comes with A-GPS and Bluetooth. It measures about 4.17 by 2.17 by 0.55 inches and weighs just less than four ounces, with a battery. It integrates Google’s mobile services including: Google Maps, search, Google Mail, and Android market where users can download thousands of applications and games. The Tattoo will also come with the consumers getting an option to design and purchase multiple phone covers for the device.

The Tattoo uses its new user interface called “Sense” that lets people customize up to seven home screens — such as adding email and stock quotes on a “work screen” or local weather and maps on a “travel screen”. The handset also combines voice calls, emails, texts, photos and Facebook and status updates into one view.

The HTC Tattoo will be available in Europe first at the beginning of October, and will roll out in markets around the world in the following months.
