LG Electronics has launched a new high-end 3G smartphone- GM730, in collaboration with Qualcomm. Based on Qualcomms MSM 7201A chipset, the GM730 is the latest offering by LG. It also included 3D S class user interface and Windows Mobile, and a touch screen portfolio to ensure two step easy e-mail setup, faster downloads through 3G and host of other features.
The S-Class UI brings about finger-friendly touch operation, where WM’s usability is improved by dynamic 3D graphics, large font and shortcut icons. In addition, the S Class UI has favorite menu items like email, scheduler and contacts, where each function is interlinked for direct access.
Writing and sending an e-mail to an address already in the contact list is just one tap away. Folders from Outlook on home or office computers sync perfectly with the LG-GM730 which means the information on any device is the most current one. Push email means instant notification of incoming messages, eliminating the need to log in manually and check for new mail. Despite its small size, the LG-GM730 still manages to pack in all the essential productivity software with room to spare.
The advanced multimedia features like 5 megapixel camera, MP3 player and numerous action-packed games make this phone a full-featured entertainment device. The LG GM730 provides support for Map services, social networking sites as well as GPS navigation. GM730 boasts of 11.9mm thickness and is designed with a rounded edge profile to maintain the sleek and slim design of GM730.
The LG-GM730 will be available nationally in all retail stores from this month. The pricing hasn’t been announced yet. The introduction of the LG GM730 coincides with the launch of the LG Application Store that presents more than 1400 apps, of which over 100 are available for free to LG mobile phone users.
