LG has announced the BL20, the latest addition to its Chocolate Series. It will be available in the UK. The newest addition to the Chocolate series follows the launch of the stylish New LG Chocolate phone (BL40) at the start of September.
The New Chocolate BL20 also comes with Widget Hotkeys for quick access to news, weather or personal updates and a new feature called Clear Memo Capture, which captures text, handwritten notes and drawings with clarity to offer a different way to record information.
“Standing proudly alongside the BL40, the BL20 expands the Chocolate series with a beautiful but practical slider option reflecting our leadership in design,” said Dr. Skott Ahn, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “The New LG Chocolate BL20 offers consumers another way to experience the luxurious style and high performance that is symbolic of the LG Chocolate series but at a more affordable price.”
The LG Chocolate BL20 features a 2.4-inch screen with QVGA 240 x 320 resolution. The BL20 packs a sliding keypad and the red touch-sensitive controls that glow when the phone is opened. It also features a 5-Megapixel camera with auto-focus and built-in flash. It supports Quad-band GSM voice networks and two-band 3G data networks.

It sports a 900mAh Li-Ion battery that can deliver up to five hours of talk time or up to 450 hours of standby time, measures 106.9 x 50.8 x 12.3 mm and weighs 115 grams.
The LG Chocolate BL20 will be released in Q4 in the UK from the mobile operator O2. The price has not yet been revealed.
