Logitech has announced a new wireless keyboard and mouse combination: the Wireless Desktop MK700. The new desktop kit is compatible with Windows-based PC (Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7).
The keyboard and the mouse both incorporate Logitech’s powerful 2.4GHz wireless technology. The system features an integrated LCD heads-up display for battery status, caps lock, scroll lock, num lock and mute. The battery life is reportedly up to three years for the keyboard and one year for the mouse.
The keyboard features concave Logitech Incurve keys that position the users’ fingers properly and has rounded edges that allow fingertips to glide from key to key.
The mouse that comes with this desktop has gentle curves for a natural fit. This device fits snuggly into the users’ palm and enables them to choose between hyper-fast and precise click-to-click scrolling.
The Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700 is expected to be available in the U.S. in August for a suggested retail price of $99.99 (U.S.).
