that is a very bad handset it does not support to stream youtube and nothing online files.trackball is rough.but facebook is working and wifi how set anybody did not know.

I am using Q7 for more then 3 months. Following are my observations:
1) Signal reception quality is extremely poor. Signal keep on breaking. impossible to communicate when signal strength is less the 50%
2) Speaker quality is poor (including handfree speaker). Sound clarity is not there and one has to strain your ears to understand what other person speaking.
3) Opera, Facebook, Nimbus nothing works. Nobody knows the settings to make them work. Default factory configuration settings are no good.
4) Trackball is extremely sensitive and not very user friendly. There is a delayed response during navigation, which makes it very slow.
5) Overall operation of phone is not very user friendly. QWERTY keyboard is cramped and very hard. difficult to operate.
6) Camera quality is extremely poor. There is very little depth of field offered by the camera. Most of the time background of the picture look blurry or smudged.
Positive observations:
1) Attractive look.
2) Light
3) FM Works without headphone connection
4) 3.5 mm for headphone jack
I will not advice this phone to anybody. I am looking for a buyer to get rid of this phone
Iam also using this micromax Q7 last three months, my exprience with this phone is very good but now Iam facing problem of trackball, It is working only in forward direction and not in backword direction
If trackball sencityvity is more, It can be set in phone setting by using option of trackball.
Hi i have purchased Q5 new one ,I am using IDEA connection of RS :98 internet , I am unable to use the Nimbuzz and yahoo it gives error , but i am able to use opera can any one assist me the proper settings to use nimbuzz any video or exeaxt settings please ,

Hi this is divya…i bought Q7 yesterday…i cant find d option to keep the phone on silent mode, when made silent it gets on vibration mode…i dont want to keep it in vibrate mode, i just want it to be in silent mode while at nite…can ny one tel me how to do it…also my nimbuzz n facebook are not working…..it always says check your interent connection when my gprs is already working very well….dunno not being able to access facebook and nimbuzz…also even after selecting the save sent msgs option my sent msgs are not getting saved in outbox….

I’ve heard of problems like wifi being too weak and the trackball getting stuck. is it true? I dont care about the pouch n the driver cd. I wanted to buy this phone just for wifi. So can anyone please clarify my doubt??
And one more thing. on all the dual sim phones i find 2 green buttons to make calls from both the sims. but this one has only one with an M written on it. can anyone tell me whether calls can be made from both the sim cards? Or only the master card? (like in samsung phones)

Please Dont buy Micromax Q7.it is have some technical problems.its Database is not working properly.You cant call by this.
Bad thing is that micromax didnt support u.
They are making indians fool and didnt supply mentioned accessories.
I have compalined them to their Head office USA.
First of all, Micromax is an Indian company with their headquarters in New Delhi. This thing alone says a lot about the authenticity of your statements. Secondly, micromax is currently the second largest handset seller by volume in India. First is Nokia (of course). I have used micromax phones in the past and have found them to be extremely good value for money. Dont try to mislead people!!!

I just bought Micromax Q7 and now when I am asking for Internet settings from my service provider RIM GSM, they say that this instrument does’t support the settings which are required…..
