Motorola Backflip launched in India

Motorola has announced the launch of another Android smartphone namely Motorola Backflip in India. Motorola Backflip runs Android 1.5 operating system and is powered by Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz processor.

Motorola Backflip comes with a 3.1 inch HVGA touchscreen display with resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, flipping QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel auto focus camera with 4 x digital zoom and LED flash, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, 32 GB of external memory and 2 GB microSD card included.

Motorola Backflip comes with a Quad-band GSM, Tri-band WCDMA and HSDPA 7.2 Mbps connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, 3.5 mm headset jack and GPS. It is powered by 1400 mAh Li ion battery that provides talk time of up to 6 hours and a standby time of up to 315 hours.

Other features include full HTML browser, Micro USB, Google Maps, Google Latitude, Google talk and comes pre loaded with MapmyIndia maps of 401 Indian cities. It measures 53.0 x 108.0 x 15.3 mm and weighs 133 grams.

Motorola Backflip is priced at Rs 19,490.
