Sprint has announced the launch date of world’s first push-to-talk Android iDEN smartphone, the Motorola i1. It will be available from July 25.

Sprint Motorola i1 is powered by Android 1.5 operating system. Motorola i1 comes with a 3.1 inch HVGA touchscreen display, Swype virtual keyboard, 5 megapixel camera with flash and geo-tagging and MicroSD card support.
Motorola i1 also features Wi-Fi, GPS, Opera Mini 5 browser, access to Facebook , MP3 player and Microsoft Document Viewer. It also comes preinstalled with Xora, TeleNavTrack, Sprint Mobile Locator and Nextel Direct Connect.
Motorola i1 will be available for a price tag of $149.99 on a 2-year Sprint contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
