Motorola has announced the launch of the first Google’s Android-powered smartphone for Korea called MOTOROI.
The MOTOROI features a 3.7-inch WVGA display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and uses a full touch screen pad. The MOTOROI offers five distinct text-input methods, including a 3X4 keypad, full QWERTY, half QWERTY, hand writing and writing pad.

The MOTOROI also features an 8-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and 720p HD video recording capabilities, HDMI, mp3 player, Google Maps, Gmail, GTalk, YouTube, 8GB of internal storage, microSD expansion up to 32GB and a 3.5mm jack. The MOTOROI also features mobile TV (T-DMB), Wi-Fi and GPS. The MOTOROI will support a unique docking station and proximity sensor. MOTOROI phone gives access to 18,000 Android applications, including hundreds of Korean-language applications.
The Motorola MOTOROI will become available in Korea early February via SK Telecom. The price of MOTOROI is still unknown.
