Motorola has just unveiled a new entry level handset, the MOTO W403. The W403 is a simple and stylish mobile phone featuring advanced mobile phone features which consumers are looking for in a mobile phone today. The new MOTO W403 will come equipped with features focused on music and camera. Presented as “an all-in-one music and camera phone”, Motorola W403 is a clamshell that has a “classic, enduring design”, and a “youthful metallic look”.
The MOTO W403 comes with a 1.8-inch internal display, as well as with a thin, youthful ‘metallic’ look. There’s also a 96 x 32 pixels CLI monochromatic external display on board and can show the clock, caller ID, music name and radio station.
It is a clamshell device that supports dual-band GSM/GPRS connectivity (850/1900/900/1800MHz) and features a CrystalTalk technology which enhances phone conversation and reduces background noise. It also comes equipped with a 2.5mm headset jack and Bluetooth functionality.
This is a low budget flip phone which has both an FM radio and MP3 player and supports AAC, AMR NB, MIDI and MP3 audio formats. This Motorola phone offers 7MB of internal memory and comes with support for microSD memory card slot.
Other features of the MOTO W403 incude an EMS/MMS/SMS messaging, a VGA camera with video recording and playback, 128MB internal memory, 500 minutes talk time, 300 hours standby time. Additionally, the handset measures 95mm x 46mm x 16mm and weighs around 76 grams.
Unfortunately, there are no official pictures of this new device. The MOTO W403 will be available in the Latin America sometime in Q4. No words on pricing and international release date are available yet.
