MSI announces Turbo Drive GX723 gaming notebook

MSI has launched its latest gaming notebook the MSI GX723 featuring MSI’s exclusive Turbo Drive Engine Technology. Notebook features the Intel Core 2 Duo processor and the Intel PM45 Express Chipset with wireless connectivity and HD capabilities.

The gaming notebook will be equipped with a 17 inch screen with 1680 x 1050 resolution and graphics card Nvidia GeForce 130M GT with 512 MB of built-in DDR3 Video RAM and Dolby Theater Class 5 speakers. The MSI GX723 notebook has two slots of DDR2 SO-DIMM leading to a maximum of 4GB RAM. It has an HDMI port, 3 USB ports, a 4 in 1 card reader, and can have a maximum of 500 GB of hard drive space. The configuration is completed by a 2-megapixel webcam, set of 6 or 9 cells, Wi-Fi, Blu-ray or DVD recorder.

The MSI GX723 Notebook features the brand new Eco Engine which facilitates power saving, in 5 different modes. Depending on the task at hand, users can switch between Gaming mode, Office mode, Presentation mode, Movie mode and Turbo Drive mode. Pricing or availability for the GX723 is not announced yet.
