The MSI GX640 and GX740 feature Intel Core i5 processor with ATI Radeon HD5870 (GX740) and HD5850 (GX640) discrete graphics cards with advanced 1GB GDDR5 display memory and SRS Premium Sound. This MSI G series Notebooks are equipped with 2.5’’ 320/ 500/ 640GB SATA HDD options, 2.0 mp webcam, Intel HM55 chipset.
MSI GX640 and GX740 have 15.4 inch and 17 inch TFT LCD Display respectively and supports Bluetooth V2.1EDR, Intel 802.11 a/b/g/draft n connectivity, HDMI, D-sub, USB 2.0, e-SATA, Mic-in, Headphone out and RJ-45/RJ-11.
They are powered by 6 cells battery and weighs 3.2kg (GX740) and 2.7 kg (GX640). MSI GX740 is equipped with 2 additional Speakers & a Sub-Woofer. MSI GX640 and GX740 Notebooks come with pre installed Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and have special features like Cinema Pro, ECO Engine, and Numeric Keyboard.
