Taiwanese manufacturer MSI has recently updated its laptop offering with the introduction of a new EX460 model, specifically designed to meet the requirements of business users and entertainment enthusiasts.
This laptop features an Intel Core2 Duo processor. It also incorporates up to 4GB of RAM and up to 500GB hard drive. The system is based on the SIS 672DX/SIS 968 chipset platform. This notebook measures in at 14-inches and features an LED-backlit display along with the 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics card.
The specifications of the EX460 include Windows Vista Home Premium, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, 1.3M webcam, VGA port, on a traditional 2.5-inch hard disk drive, wireless 802.11 b/g/n and optional Bluetooth connectivity, two speakers and 65W AC adapter.
The other specifications include the three USB 2.0 ports, 1 RJ-45 Ethernet LAN port, D-SUB for external display and mic-in and headphone out, Ethernet, 4-in-1 memory card reader and DVD burner or a Blu-Ray optical drive.
The EX460′s keyboard uses MSI’s EDS ergonomic keyboard that sports curved keys to better accommodate fingers during typing. These keys are also said to be 51 percent larger than those found on other notebooks. The 14-inch laptop can be equipped with either a 6-cell or a 9-cell battery pack. Measuring 344.4mm x 212mm x 13.5mm and weighs just 2 kg, when equipped with the 6-cell battery.
Pricing and a release date are not yet known for the MSI EX460.
