MSI has released new ultrathin 13.4-inch laptop PC model dubbed as the MSI X-Slim X350. The notebook is an improved version of the model X-Slim X340.
The MSI X-Slim X350 is based on CULV-platform, which includes an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Intel GS45 ICH9M-SFF chipset, as well as integrated video card Intel GMA 4500MHD.
The MSI X350 weight just 1.5 kg, and is less than one inch thick and measures 330 x 224 x 24~6 mm. The MSI X350 Notebook runs Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. The X350 includes a 2-in-1 card reader, two speakers, one HDMI and D-Sub ports for display output, two USB 2.0 ports, one RJ45 connector, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, and optional Bluetooth.
The MSI X350 is equipped with a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, up to 2GB of RAM, a hard disk 320 or 500GB, 1.3-megapixel web camera, controller, and an optional DVD burner or Blu-ray drive. The MSI X350 uses an ultra-thin, large-capacity lithium-polymer battery. The X350 can be equipped with a 4-cell battery, or an 8-cell model, the latter to achieve the 9 hours of battery life.
The pricing and release details are yet to be announced.
