MSI Wind U160 netbook launches in India

MSI has announced the availability of the MSI Wind U160 netbook in India. The MSI Wind U160 netbook is based on Intel’s Pine Trail platform with integrated 1.66GHz Intel N450 Atom processor. The MSI Wind U160 netbook has a 10 inch LED display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels and a reaction time of just 8 milliseconds.

The MSI Wind U160 comes with an Intel NM10 chipset and GMA 3150 graphic. It also features DDR2 667 support up to 2 GB,160 GB or above 2.5 inch SATA HDD, 2 in 1 card reader, D-sub , USB 2.0 , Mic-in, Headphone, RJ45, 3 cells/ 6 cell battery and 1.3 megapixel webcam and Genuine Windows 7 Starter operating system.

The MSI Wind U160 also has built-in 802.11 b/g/n capability, Bluetooth V2.0 EDR, and supports 3.5G (Enhanced Third Generation) mobile communications. The netbook has a Chiclet keyboard with an independent key design and a seamless wide touch pad and provides a battery run-time of up to 15 hours. The outer shell of Wind U160 is coated with MSI’s unique color-film-print (CFP) technology with a two-color Fancy Gold and Jet Black finish.

The MSI Wind U160 is priced at Rs. 23,999.
