Nokia is getting ready to launch a new entry-level phone, Nokia 2220 slide. Nokia 2220 slide is a slider, and it will come in six different colors, black, pink, silver, blue, green and purple.
The Nokia 2220 will be simple and look authentic and will be entry level phone. Its display will be at a low resolution of just 128×160 pixels, capable of showing up to 65k colors. The handset uses in Nokia’s S40 UI and it only has dual-band GSM connectivity (900/1800 MHz).
The phone also features a 3.5mm headset jack, 10MB internal memory, VGA camera, FM radio, Opera Mini browser, about 8hrs of talktime and 400 hours of standby time. Dimensions of the enclosure are 97.2 mm x 47 mm x 15.9 mm.
Nokia 2220 slide expected to be priced at $126. No word yet on when the phone will be commercially available.
