Nokia has announced the launch of Nokia 5230 in India. Nokia 5230 is the cheapest touchscreen handset available in India from the Nokia.
Nokia 5230 comes with 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen display with a resolution of 640×480 pixels, full-screen QWERTY keyboard, 2 mega-pixel camera.
It also incorporated Stereo FM radio with RDS, standard 3.5mm audio output jack, 70 MB internal memory, 16GB micros SD card slot. Nokia 5230 is “3G” enabled but it lacks Wifi. It is powered with a standard Li-Ion battery and talk time of over 4 hour and a standby time of up to 432 hours on 3G network.
Nokia 5230 runs on Symbian S60 5th edition Operating System and 434 ARM MHz processor. Nokia 5230 also offers GPS with OVI maps for navigation and changeable battery back covers. Nokia 5230 comes preloaded with various other applications, which includes Voice command/ dial, photo editor, Flash Lite 3.0, Document viewer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Handwriting recognition feature, Email and IM.
The Nokia 5230 is priced at Rs 8500/-
