Nokia announced the release of Nokia 6730 classic handset exclusively to Vodafone in all the markets it serves, powered by the Symbian S60 software which means users can download smartphone-level apps.
The 6730 classic is optimized for mobile Internet and navigation services. The 6730 classic includes access to turn-by-turn directions, a point-of-interest database and yellow pages information. The device will also support Vodafone Music Client and personal and business email access. The company says the phone is also packed with power-saving features.
The new Nokia 6730 classic comes to the market with quad-band GSM connectivity (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), dual-band HSDPA connectivity (900/2100 MHz), support for Nokia Maps, a 2.2-inch QVGA display with support for 16 million colors, 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, Bluetooth connectivity as well as a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space. It measures 112 x 46 x 12.6 mm and weighs 83 grams.
The 6730 will be available in June in sleek black or white.
