Nokia 8800 Erdos has been spotted in the wild. The phone codenamed Erdos is seen as the successor to the luxury range of handsets like the 8800.
The Erdos would feature an OLED 2.4-inch QVGA display capable of 320 x 240 pixel resolution. When the cover of the phone is slid down, the keypad rises up to meet the display level. It also has Wi-Fi, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, micro USB, and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss lens, dual LED flash and video recording capability. The phone will reportedly run Symbian S60 3rd edition.
The Erdos will measure 116.9mm x 50.3mm x 15.0 mm and includes 8GB of available internal memory. Nokia 8800 Erdos is finished from a single piece of stainless steel and comes with a display covered by glass. The device looks transparent when used and turns silver when turned off.
Unfortunately, neither the price nor the release date has been announced.
