Nokia has officially announced the launch of the Nokia C5, a candybar smartphone. The Nokia C5 is a smartphone that includes enhanced social networking and sharing features.

The Nokia C5 sports the Symbian S60 3rd edition operating system, 2.2 inch QVGA display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution, 3.2 megapixel camera, Internal Memory of 50 MB, 2GB MicroSD card in the box (support for up to 16GB microSD memory card) and high speed data connection for effortless uploading of photos and videos to various online communities.

Measuring 12.3mm x 46mm x 112mm, the Nokia C5 also comes with HSDPA, Integrated A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.0, Micro-USB connector, built in stereo FM radio and 3.5mm AV connector, Stereo IHF speaker, Nokia Messaging, and “Ovi Music”. It comes with the latest 3.0 Ovi Maps pre-loaded for free walk and drive navigation. It is powered by 1050mAh battery that gives talktime of 12 hours and upto 630 hours of standby time.
The Nokia C5 will be available in white and warm grey colors in the second quarter of 2010 in Europe, Eurasia, SEAP, China and MEA and is priced at €135.
