The Nokia 6600i Slide, which was released in May worldwide, has now been launched in India. Nokia 6600i is elegant looking sleek slider phone. Nokia claims that Nokia 6600i is its smallest 5 megapixel slide phone up to now.
Nokia 6600i has a 5 megapixel camera with an 8x zoom and maximum photo resolution 2592×1944 pixels. The 6600i camera, sporting double LED flash and auto focus, is known for its superb imaging and video recording capabilities. The Nokia 6600i also features a second (front) camera. The 6600i features 2.2 inch color TFT screen with color display of 16000000 colors and resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.
In addition to its superb imaging capabilities, the Nokia 6600i slide indulges the quality-conscious consumer with its compact and elegant design. The brushed steel covers and chrome center key constitute both understated elegance as well as visual simplicity, and discreet tap commands bring the display alive, snooze alerts and silence or reject incoming phone calls.
The Nokia 6600i offers XHTML browser, Java MIDP2.0, OMA DRM 1.0. It additionally has the Nokia maps, FM radio, stereo headset and stereo song player that support MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA. It possesses 2.0 Bluetooth as well as Micro USB connectivity and 3G connectivity.
The cell phone comes with dimensions of 93.0 x 45.0 x 14.2 mm, with a weight of 110 grams including its battery. The phone comes equipped with Li-Ion 1000 mAh (BL-4U) battery offering standby time of 348 hours and talk time of 4 hours. Nokia 6600i comes with 20MB of internal memory and a 1GB micro-SD card. It features a memory slot to expand the external memory up to 16GB. The cell phone comes with Micro-USB connector with mass storage class support, USB 2.0.
The 6600i slider phone is available for a price of Rs 14,000 in Indian Market.
