Olive Telecommunication has announced the launch of India’s First Hybrid dual powered Mobile phone which runs on AAA Batteries, named as Olive-FrvrOn (VG3200).
Olive-FrvrOn comes with a 1.5-inch color display, FM radio, polyphonic ring tones, stereo handset, dual powered AAA battery, and speaker phone.
Olive-FrvrOn can run on AAA batteries when the Li-ion battery in the phone runs out, Olive FrvrOn claims to give constant connectivity. It is powered by 600 mAh Battery which gives talktime of 3 hours and up to 100 hours of standby time.
Olive FrvrOn is priced at Rs. 1699.

olive has done a tremendous job in launching such a product. of all the products that has been presented, i thought that the best product was their zip book and its V-G2300 frvr on mobile phone. the phone runs on an AAA powered battery and is dual powered. the price of the phone is only Rs1699 and comprises of :
- FM phone
- polyphonic ringtones
- AAA batteries
- colour display
- stereo headset
- speaker phone
this all for such a low price. i would like to see how many companies could get us such a deal. i use my cell phone while i am on calls and would like to have something that does not cuts of by loss of power in the middle of a chat. what better could it be and what else can u get, with such a deal. i could get like a whole set of 4 to 5 phones for my family and would have nothing to worry about power loss or anything, since the dual powered AAA battery would help us in getting to talk longer than we used to through the charger.
