Samsung has unveiled new 23-inch Touch of Color highest performing monitor, the SyncMaster XL2370 LED monitor. The XL2370 has a finger-slim design and cutting edge technology.
The Samsung XL2370 is Samsung’s highest performance display and the first to incorporate LED technology, giving the model a super-slim profile and significant energy-saving benefits.
The crystal-like bezel frame of Samsung XL2370 with Touch of Color (ToC™) design reduces the reflection of light and glare. The glossy stand offers a polished design, while the clear, crystal-like acrylic neck gives the illusion the monitor is floating.
Samsung XL2370 offers a suite of eco-conscious features including reduced energy consumption, requiring about 40% less power to operate compared with typical monitors of a similar size. In addition, the product does not contain toxic-materials such as halogen or mercury by adopting a LED backlight unit. The ToC™ manufacturing process eliminates harmful paints and sprays, increasing the monitor’ recyclability.
“We expect the XL2370 will open a new era of the LED monitor market,” said JaeYoung Lew of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Division. “Samsung will pave the way in the LED monitor market with beautiful design and superb functionality, while responding to the market needs for eco-friendly technology.”
The product has a 20.1” display size that offers a Mega 5M:1 dynamic ratio and 2ms response time. This helps in delivering deep and rich colors. With full HD 1080p 1920&215;1080 resolution users can benefit from extremely crisp images and effective screening of the HD content.
The Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 23-inch full HD monitor will be an initial release in Korea with a European release following in August. The price of the product is €281.
