Samsung Announces Watchphone S9110

Samsung has announced the launch of the S9110, a cutting-edge watch-phone featuring a full touch screen. The watch-phone is basically a wristwatch, which comprises of all the features of a cellular phone. The Samsung S9110 is 0.47 inches, making it the slimmest watchphone device in the market.

The S9110 has a full touchscreen of 1.76-inches, and is just 12mm deep. It supports dual-band GSM enables it to send and receive emails. The device enables the users to check their e-mail seamlessly through Outlook. It measures 58mm x 41mm in size and weighs only 91g.

The mobile wristwatch has a scratch-resistant glass face and comes with stainless steel metal body and leather wrist belt. The S9110 watchphone also comes with MP3, voice recognition, voice memo, speakerphone support, Bluetooth 2.1, has 40Mb of onboard memory and a 630 mAh battery. It supports voice calling.

The S9110 will be available in France this month for around €450 (approx. Rs 31,000). There is still no official word regarding the launch of this phone outside France.
