Samsung has unveiled the world’s first built-in pico projector smartphone dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Beam (I8520) in Singapore. Galaxy Beam smartphone is powered by Google Android 2.1 operating system and runs 720MHz TI OMAP3440 CPU.

Samsung Galaxy Beam features a 3.7 inch WVGA super AMOLED touchscreen display, 8 megapixel auto focus camera with flash, front facing VGA camera, TouchWiz UI 3.0, 16 GB of internal memory and upto 32GB of external memory.
Samsung Galaxy Beam also features 3G connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, USB V 2.0, EDGE, GPRS and Allshare (DLNA). It also features FM Radio, integrated messaging ‘Social Hub’, access to Android market, GPS and 1800mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy Beam is available for free to SG$398, depending on the plan.
