Samsung Galaxy S i9000 smartphone announced

Samsung has announced its latest Android handset dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S i9000. Samsung Galaxy S runs Android 2.1 and is powered by Samsung new1GHz processor.

Samsung Galaxy S features 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording at 30fps, 8GB or 16GB internal memory and expandable memory upto 32GB through microSD card. It also features “Social Hub” – a single point entry to various social networking websites.

Samsung Galaxy S also has 3G connectivity, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi, Android Market, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Digital compass and 1500 mAh battery. The handset is only 9.9 mm thick and it uses the Swype virtual QWERTY keyboard.

The price and availability of Samsung Galaxy S is yet not announced.

    An another good release by Samsung..It sports Android OS and 1 GHz, probably would price for 800 $ or more.
