Samsung introduced N-140 Netbook in India

Samsung has announced the launch of Samsung N140 Ultra-Portable Netbook in India. It is powered by the Intel Atom processor and runs Microsoft’s latest Windows 7 operating system.

Samsung N140 comes with a 10.1-inch LED Backlit display and a spillproof keyboard.


The Netbook supports 11 hours with a 6 cell battery and has 250GB hard disc drive. It is the first netbook in the market which has a 250GB Hard Disc Drive.

It features three USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a 3-in-1 memory card reader, a camera and a chargeable USB port to charge portable devices, such as mobile phones or MP3 players, even when the netbook is turned off. There’s also an internal microphone and headphone-out connection.

Weighing 1.27 kg, N140 packs a vast array of the latest wireless communication technology and data-sharing capabilities. In addition, the Netbook promises high multimedia experience and SRS effects that produce clear High Definition 3D sound. It also features a high speed 802.11bg/n compliant wireless card.

The Samsung N140 comes with a 1 year warranty and is priced at Rs. 24,990.
