Samsung has announced the addition of two new models to its N series netbooks line – the N130 and N140.

The N130 and N140 will both sport a 10.1-inch screen. The two devices have the same hardware specification. Each new netbook has the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processors paired with Intel 945GSE chipset, Windows XP Home Edition, 1GB RAM and 160GB HDD for storage, WiFi (including Draft-N), integrated Webcam, three USB ports, a three-in-one memory card reader, and a 6-cell battery.

The N130 will be light-weight netbook with glossy finish. The N130 also features optional support for mobile broadband technologies HSPA, WiMax and WiBro. The N130 has just a stock 3-cell (standard) or 6-cell (optional) battery and a mono-channel notebook speaker. It measures 263.8 x 185.5 x 28.5 mm and weighs 1.26kg. It will be available in four colors – black, white, sea blue and peach pink. Both netbook also features an anti-bacterial keyboard.

The N140 is the premium model and comes with Bluetooth 2.1, stereo 1.5w speakers and SRS audio, and it features a higher powered battery which is supposed to last for 11 hours, as compared to 7 hours on the N130. It weighs about 2.8 pounds and measure 262 x 185.5 x 28.55mm. It will be available in black, white or blue color themes.

Samsung N130 and N140 will be available in September. No words on pricing yet.
