Samsung has announced the launch of the Omnia II-GT I8000 in Indian Market. SamsungOmnia II features an all new Intuitive 3D UI along with Samsung’s TouchWiz 2.0 UI.
Samsung Omnia II is a full – touch screen phone powered by Windows 6.1 Mobile platform, a perfect blend of style, multimedia and business performance. The phone boasts a 3.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution 800×480 and displays 65k colors.
The Omnia II incorporates a host of motion-enabled features including 3D photo album, video library, music library, browser bookmarks. The handset also offers support for online mobile widgets as well as popular social networking sites such as as Facebook, Picasa, Flickr, MySpace, Photobucket, Friendster. Through its Microsoft Active Sync feature, it also provides its users the facility of Push email service making it a complete ‘one stop business solution on the go’.
The Omnia II also features a 5-megapixel camera with dual power LED flash and high quality video recording with 720×480 resolution at 30fps. It has a 3.5 ear jack and FM radio with RDS, FM Recording along with A-GPS Navigation (3D Map)/LBS. The Samsung Omnia 2 supports Bluetooth, USB v2.0, Wi-Fi connectivity and Quad-band GSM support. The phone is a full 3G device with exhaustive network support. The Samsung Omnia 2 has in-built 2-16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB through micro SD card.
The Samsung touchscreen handset is priced at Rs. 28,990.
