Simmtronics has launched Intel G-41 chipset Motherboards for both Desktops and Notebooks. The G41T-M is equipped with 2 DIMM DDR2 800 slots and is scalable up to 8GB. It thinks that the extra RAM will provide more scalability and enhance system efficiency appreciably.
The motherboard supports LGA775 Intel processors with HT technology. They also feature 6-channel HD Audio CODEC which helps produce home theater-quality sound. The rear panel of the motherboard features keyboard, mouse connectors, four USB ports, VGA port, COM port, RJ45 LAN connector and audio port. The processor is manufactured on Intel’s 65nm fab process, regardless of L2 cache size reside in an LGA775-style socket and runs up to 1333MHz front-side bus.
According to Vinit Shangle, National Sales Manager, Simmtronics Semiconductors, “The SIMM INT G41T-M features Intel G41 and ICH7 chipsets and supports Intel 45nm processors and Core 2 Quad processors resulting in extremely impressive performance. Suited both for family and commercial uses, G41T-M features integrated 6-channel HD Audio CODEC and delivers advanced multi-channel audio, thus, offering the experience of home theater-quality sound.”
The SIMM INT G41T-M is certified for Windows Vista that means Vista Ready and on-board graphics support comes from Intel GMA X4500 integrated graphics. High transfer speed is promised with SATA II 3.0GB/s data transfer speed with support for up to four SATA II HDDs. Apart from that, the motherboard offers a 6-channel HD audio codec that will offer nearly home-theatre quality audio output. They come with Core 2 Duo processor, USB 2.0 and 10/100 LAN. The power efficient core Duo processor runs up to 1333MHz front-side bus and consumes less power compared to the earlier launched Intel chips.
The Intel G-41 chipset motherboard for notebook and desktop is available in India through Simmtronics Semiconductors for the retail price of Rs.4,200 with three year warranty.
